Opening with Andrei Tarkovsky's movie, Punkto 3 seeks to understand nostalgia,
in the core of a discussion on memory, history and freedom.
1. Nostalgia as a form of melancholia and as psychic condition pointed towards an object impossible to possess: memory, past, time.
2. Nostalgia as principle of an absence, of something that is irreparably lost and impossible to recover.
3. Nostalgia as a construction of an idyllic (individual or collective) time but yet impossible to return.
4. Nostalgia as the long and secret desire of "returning home": "Il dollore della casa" - from the greek "nóstos" (returning home) and "álgos" (pain, ache, sadness).
5. Nostalgia as the incessant becoming of the past, as a deep imersion (of the individual or of the community) in the historical time.
6. As in Tarkovsky, the present (or the contemporary) is a ruin inhabitated and surrounded by the past. And in the reflection of the present are always the shadows of the past: of what we have made, of what we have lost. Is freedom just an illusion?
7. And on this endless circuit at what stake are art and architecture?

1. Partindo do filme de Andrei Tarkovsky, o punkto 3 procura compreender o sentido da palavra Nostalgia no centro de uma discussão sobre memória, história e liberdade.
2. Nostalgia como principio de uma ausência, de algo que se perdeu irreparavelmente e que é agora impossível de recuperar: a memória, o passado, o tempo.
3. Nostalgia como construção de um tempo idílico (individual ou colectivo) mas ao qual será sempre impossível voltar.
4. Nostalgia como o secreto desejo de "regressar a casa": "Il dollore della casa" - do grego "nóstos" (voltar a casa) e "álgos" (dor, tristeza).
5. Nostalgia como o devir incessante do passado, como imersão profunda (do individuo ou da comunidade) no tempo histórico.
6. Como em Tarkovsky, o presente (ou o contemporâneo) é uma ruína habitada e rodeada pelo passado, e no reflexo do presente estão sempre as sombras do passado: daquilo que fizemos, daquilo que perdemos. É a liberdade apenas uma ilusão?
7. E neste circuito eterno onde se situam a arte e a arquitectura?
